Assignment 3: your weekend

OK. I know that maybe you expect me to tell you about a very fun, exciting, and relevant activity that I've ever done in my life; well, you're wrong, unless you consider that spending you're whole weekend studing as an "exciting" and "super duper fun" one...

This is what I did, well, "we" I must say, because I spent it all with my boyfriend. He was a little sick, so he helped me studying, and I helped him getting better; that was the sort of "deal" we made; but the truth is that no one of us really gave to it more importance than to make a joke and then laugh together.

Well. What we did. Telling you the truth, it was a little (just a little) monotonous. We woke up early, had some breakfast; then we started studying and continued till lunch time. We ate as fast as we could, so we could have a little rest and then continuing studying till tea time, sometimes it was a tea- dinner instance, like the last meal of the day, so we took longer, talking to my family, joking, watching TV, everything at the same time we were eating. After that: studying again, till 2-3 am, when we went to bed only to sleep a few hours to wake up at 9 in the morning (for me they're so few!!!- I expected to sleep more, since last week I've fallen asleep in several classes, and on thursday, I fell asleep in both, morning and afternoon clasess...well, you can't blame me... they both were just a little boring. But yes, I was very tired-)...

- not much to tell, really...

Assignment 2: Recommended Websites in my Area

1) http://www.aota.org/ - The American Occupational Therapy Association web-page.
I selected it because it has very important information about what the carreer is and how the american culture sees it.It's useful to my stuidies because it has news, links, books recomendations, and more.
2) http://www.caot.ca/ - The Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists web-page.
I seleceted it mainly because of the same reasons of why I selected the past one, but here I can get the canadian view of what an Occupational Therapist does and how he develops. This is something that helps to my studies, and it has links, book recomendations, important documents, and a link to the Canadian Journal of Occupational Therapy (CJOT), which is a very important scientific journal about Occupatioanl Therapy.
3) http://www.cot.org.uk/ - The Britich Association/ College of Occupational Therapists web-page.
I selected it because it has a different point of view than the other ones (you'll se it once you get into it). It has a link to the British Journal of Occupational Therapy (another important journal), to publications, and useful information for both occupational therapists and people in common, about how can OT help them, for instance.

"Introducing myself in 100 words- a little longer, you'll see..."

My name is Natalia, but my friends call me "h", and I'm christian (that's a very important part of my life, better saying it's all my life and on which it finds support, on Christ). I study Occupational Therapy at Universidad de Chile, here, in Santiago, Chile. I have two older brothers and one little sister; also two pets: one is my dog called Mozart (-I play the piano-), and a cat named "Pancha". Well, as I already said, one of the things I like is playing the piano, but I also like playing guitar and other musical instruments; I like it pretty much. Another thing that I like is going out to see movies, to walk in the park, to have a coffee, or just to have a conversation. With whom? well, lately I haven't had the time for doing it, but I use to do it with my friends, but specially with my boyfriend. He's a very important part of my life; that's why if here I'm talking about myself I can't help not naming him. :P
